Anatomy of a Playdate

We love playdates for Lily. While she enjoys her walks, there is just something about romping around the yard with friends - we get to see her joy during the play and we get to listen to her snore afterward.

This is my friend Lisa's beloved dog Josie.

As soon as she gets in the car, it's showing...her lids start to droop slightly.

And then her eyes close...

The head gets heavy...
And heavier...
So heavy, it takes the rest of the body with it...

Does your dog like playdates?

  1. my dogs are so rude with other dogs! I have rescued them both as an adult from the shelter so they had NO socialization. Tess likes to shove the new dog's nose in the dirt, to tell it who is boss of the play time. Schultz is a fan of the full on tackle and romp without getting a chance to sniff first. Needless to say they don't have many friends :( lol!
